Mentor Bridge Vancouver Trip

Apr 5, 20231 minute

We recently organized a three-day travel program to Vancouver for high school students. The program aimed to expose students to new experiences, build their confidence, and promote cultural awareness.

During the trip, students had the opportunity to visit some of Vancouver’s most iconic landmarks, such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, and Capilano Suspension Bridge. They also participated in team-building activities, cultural workshops, and community service projects.

One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to a local First Nations community, where students learned about Indigenous culture, history, and traditions. This experience helped to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Canada’s diverse heritage.

Overall, the Vancouver travel program was a great success, with students returning to Toronto with new skills, knowledge, and friendships. We are grateful for the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, who helped to make this program possible.

We look forward to continuing to provide meaningful experiences for youth in our community.
