On October 11, on the occasion of Thanksgiving, we took a trip to Niagara Falls with 13 of our homeschool students. Our day trip started at 09:00 in the morning, departing from Toronto Nile Academy. We visited Niagara Falls, one of the most beautiful and largest waterfalls in Canada and the world. Our students learned a lot of new information about this natural wonder waterfall. We visited the city centre. Our students had fun playing various games in luna park. On the occasion of this trip, our students gained good qualities such as friendship, spending time together and sharing our love. Canada, which has the third-largest geography in the world, has many natural wonders to visit and see. This beautiful trip ended at 09:00 in the evening. Our students returned home happy and cheerful.

Food and Relief Festival

The kermess, which was held by the volunteers of the Hizmet Movement at the Cultural Center for Canadian Turkish Friendship Community (CTFC) members and volunteers, drew great attention. Hundreds of volunteers participated in the Kermess, which was open on Saturday, September 4, between 10:00 and 18:00 at the Cultural Center at the Keele & Rutherford location. Kebab, raw meatballs, baklava, tea and coffee were offered for sale at the stands opened in the garden of the Cultural Center. Volunteers, who bought what they wanted from the stands at affordable prices, had the opportunity to eat comfortably in the sitting areas prepared in the garden of the Cultural Center.Meanwhile, various entertainment programs were organized for the children during th>kermess. Additionally, there were award-winning games for the children who had the opportunity to have fun and spend marvelous time with their friends.Volunteers who participated in the kermess emphasized that they were very happy with such
programs organized for charitable purposes and that they should be held more often. During the pandemic time, our community members really missed socialization. We hoped that this organization fulfilled this need. The organizers, who were happy that most of the products offered for sale at the kermess were sold. also thanked the visitors for the high demand.
